Man Utd fans in total disbelief after hearing how much Arsenal are willing to pay for Marcus Rashford

Manchester United supporters have had their say on the proposed price that Marcus Rashford could leave for – and it has divided the fanbase

Rashford, 27, has recently lost favor with Ruben Amorim and was excluded from Manchester United’s 20-man matchday squads for four consecutive games—against Manchester City, Tottenham, Bournemouth, and Wolves—before being named as a substitute in the 2-0 loss to Newcastle on Monday night.

The player told journalist Henry Winter on December 17 that he was “ready for a new challenge and the next steps.”

Since then, several clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Al-Ittihad, and Arsenal, have been rumored to be interested in signing the forward.

Although the link with Arsenal has been described as “tentative,” a transfer could materialize if certain “conditions” are fulfilled, according to Football Transfers.

One of these conditions is that Raheem Sterling, who is currently on loan from Chelsea, would need to return to Enzo Maresca’s team to “create space” in Mikel Arteta’s squad.

It is also suggested that even if Arsenal were to sign Rashford, it wouldn’t interfere with their plans to pursue Nico Williams or Rafael Leao at this stage.

Rashford is currently under contract with Manchester United until June 2028 and is believed to earn a significant £375,000 per week, according to Capology.

The website also reports that Kai Havertz is the highest-paid player at Arsenal, earning £280,000 per week.

As a result, Rashford would likely need to take a pay cut to make the move happen.

However, Football Transfers also mentions that Arsenal are “not willing” to pay £25m for the England international, as they view him as “nothing more than a squad player” in Mikel Arteta’s system.
