While the likelihood of serious consequences is extremely low, Haaland’s name has appeared in the official notices of the canton of Vaud since October 25, putting him in the view of Swiss authorities.
The Manchester City forward, who was reportedly visiting his father in Switzerland, attracted the attention of the local justice system due to the unpaid fine. Although the matter is minor, failure to resolve it could technically lead to his arrest upon returning to Switzerland.
