‘ON ONE CONDITION’: Newcastle coach Eddie Howe reveals the only Condition that can make Alexander Isak join Arsenal by January – demands for Two Arteta signing to be included in the deal PLUS 60m Cash.

Arsenal’s chances of finally securing Alexander Isak have been given a significant boost, following reports of complications regarding his contract extension at Newcastle.

Isak has been on the Gunners’ radar for some time, dating back to his days at Real Sociedad. The Swedish international made the move to the Premier League in 2022 for £63 million, and since then, he has continued to impress. Having scored 44 goals for Sociedad, Isak has netted 40 times in 78 appearances for Newcastle, including four goals in his last four matches.

Initially, Isak was expected to follow teammates Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon in committing his future to Newcastle to ward off interest from other clubs. However, according to reports from TBR Football, those plans may now be in doubt.

The report suggests that negotiations over a new contract at St. James’ Park have taken a surprising turn, with Isak’s representatives reportedly “shocked” by Newcastle’s stance. Several obstacles have reportedly emerged, including discussions over a potential release clause.

While Isak is still under contract with Newcastle until 2028, the failure to secure an extension could alert interested clubs. Arsenal, who remain in the market for a new striker, are not the only ones monitoring the situation.

In addition to Arsenal, TBR Football claims that Liverpool and Manchester City have now entered the race for Isak’s signature, while Chelsea, Barcelona, and Juventus are also thought to be keeping an eye on his contract situation.
