“Arsenal is reportedly aiming for an unexpected double transfer from a Premier League club.”

Arsenal is reportedly exploring an unexpected acquisition of Bournemouth players Antoine Semenyo and Milos Kerkez to enhance their roster for the 2024/25 season.

After narrowly missing out on the Premier League title to Manchester City in the last two seasons, manager Mikel Arteta aims to make this upcoming season a breakthrough year.

Currently ranked third in the Premier League, just one point behind Liverpool and tied with City, Arsenal is proactively preparing for next summer’s transfer window.

As per Caught Offside, the club is contemplating a potential €80 million dual transfer for Semenyo and Kerkez. Semenyo, who could serve as vital support for Bukayo Saka on the right flank, has had an impressive season, netting three goals and providing one assist in seven matches.

His performances have earned commendations from Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, particularly for his leadership during crucial moments.

On the defensive front, Kerkez is being viewed as a possible substitute for either Oleksandr Zinchenko or Kieran Tierney at left-back. Arsenal’s interest in both players demonstrates their commitment to enhancing squad depth, especially as they compete at high levels in domestic and European tournaments.

While Bournemouth’s asking price for the duo might be steep, Arsenal is reportedly seeking to negotiate a reduced fee to acquire the players without straying from their financial plan. This initiative aligns with Arteta’s broader aim of developing a team capable of consistently contending for titles, particularly against formidable opponents like Manchester City.

The potential signings of Semenyo and Kerkez would reinforce Arsenal’s key positions, providing additional options in both attack and defense as they strive for the Premier League title and other honors.
