Arsenal star told he needs to improve or face being sold after performance vs Bolton

Arsenal fans have expressed frustration with Gabriel Jesus following their Carabao Cup third-round victory over Bolton, suggesting that he may need to be sold if his performances don’t improve.

The Gunners cruised to a 2-0 lead by halftime against their League One opponents, with 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri scoring his first professional goal. Nwaneri quickly added a second after the break, following an early opener by Declan Rice in the 16th minute.

Four minutes later, Bolton responded as John McAtee set up Aaron Collins to pull one back for the visitors, who are currently 19th in League One. Despite a strong start, Bolton couldn’t keep pace, and the game was effectively over by the 65th minute when Raheem Sterling scored his first goal for Arsenal. Kai Havertz added a fifth shortly afterward, converting a rebound from a Sterling shot to make it 5-1.

Despite the comfortable win, Arsenal fans voiced concerns about Gabriel Jesus’ performance.

One fan wrote: “Gabriel Jesus needs to play much better. This isn’t good e
