Massive Signing! Sesko Joins Arsenal! ⚽🔥

Arsenal is reportedly in pole position to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, ahead of Manchester United and Bayern Munich, according to TEAMtalk. The 21-year-old Slovenian international, who impressed during his debut season with Leipzig, was previously targeted by Arsenal last summer but chose to extend his contract with the Bundesliga club.

Despite his recent contract renewal, speculation surrounding Sesko’s future has not subsided. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta remains keen to bolster his forward line as the Gunners look to compete with Premier League giants like Manchester City and Liverpool. Sources suggest that Arsenal holds an advantage in the race for Sesko, with positive talks with the player’s camp and the promise of significant playing time as part of their long-term plans.

Sesko’s value has risen following a strong start to the current season, having scored 6 goals and provided 3 assists in 9 appearances. While Bayern Munich has shown interest, it is believed that Sesko would be reluctant to play second fiddle to Harry Kane. Similarly, Manchester United, who have already added strikers such as Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee, may not offer him a guaranteed starting spot.

In contrast, Arsenal provides a more promising opportunity for Sesko to secure a starting position. With Kai Havertz in strong form this season, he could drop deeper into midfield when necessary, making room for Sesko to lead the attack. A potential move to Arsenal could also signal the departure of Gabriel Jesus, who might face increased competition for his role.

Although Leipzig removed a £55 million release clause from Sesko’s contract during his renewal, journalist Marco Guidi of *Gazzetta dello Sport* reports that the Slovenian forward could cost around £66 million or more next summer, depending on his performances throughout the season.
