Massive Signing! Sesko Joins Arsenal! ⚽🔥

Arsenal is reportedly in pole position to sign Benjamin Sesko, the RB Leipzig striker, ahead of Manchester United and Bayern Munich, according to TEAMtalk. The 21-year-old Slovenian international, who impressed in his debut season with Leipzig, was a target for Arsenal last summer but opted to extend his contract with the Bundesliga club.

Despite his recent contract renewal, speculation about Sesko’s future has not died down. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is still keen to strengthen his forward line, with the Gunners looking to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool. According to sources, Arsenal has an edge in the race to sign Sesko due to positive discussions with the player’s camp, emphasizing that he would be given significant playing time as part of their long-term plans.

Sesko’s value has soared following a strong start to the current season, where he has scored 6 goals and provided 3 assists in 9 appearances. While Bayern Munich is reportedly interested, it’s unlikely he would want to play second fiddle to Harry Kane. Similarly, Manchester United, who have already added strikers like Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee, might not offer him a guaranteed starting role.

In contrast, Arsenal has a more open path to a starting position for Sesko. Kai Havertz’s strong form this season means he can drop deeper into midfield when necessary, creating space for Sesko to lead the line. If Sesko were to join Arsenal next summer, it could signal the departure of Gabriel Jesus, who might face stiffer competition for his spot.

Although Leipzig removed the £55 million release clause from Sesko’s contract during his renewal, journalist Marco Guidi of *Gazzetta dello Sport* reports that the Slovenian forward could cost around £66 million or more next summer, depending on his performances this season.
