Manchester City is attempting to extend Erling Haaland’s contract by making him one of the top paid players in Europe.
Since moving from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City in the summer of 2022, Haaland has been a revelation for the team.
In just 114 games for the team thus far, he has scored 105 goals and provided 14 assists.
After winning the Premier League in 2021, Pep Guardiola publicly stated in an emotional interview that the team was unable to replace Sergio Aguero. However, Haaland’s goal totals have been just incredible, so the Spaniard has definitely discovered someone at least as talented as the Argentine.
For some time now, there has been discussion regarding City’s desire to sign Haaland to a better deal. According to reports, Manchester City is growing more certain that Haaland will extend his contract at the Etihad.
