“(4-4-2) Martin Ødegaard finally back to complete the midfield of Rice and Merino”, Predicted Arsenal line up vs Inter – As Arteta vows to bounce back from previous defeat.

Arsenal may have Martin Ødegaard available for their Champions League match against Inter Milan this week.

Ødegaard hasn’t played since the 1-1 draw with Brighton at the end of August due to a significant ankle ligament injury sustained while on international duty with Norway. He has been participating in light training for the past few weeks and is believed to be nearing full recovery, which is crucial for Arsenal as they seek a creative boost in midfield.

Although he wasn’t ready for Saturday’s match against Newcastle, Ødegaard could make his return in Milan on Wednesday. This match is the first of two critical games for Arsenal this week, with a trip to Chelsea scheduled for Sunday.

Gabriel Magalhães filled Ødegaard’s role in defense alongside William Saliba at St James’ Park, despite concerns over a knee issue. Mikel Arteta’s defensive worries are easing, although Riccardo Calafiori is still expected to be unavailable, and Takehiro Tomiyasu is also working back from a knee injury.

Thomas Partey has stepped in at right-back for Arsenal’s last two league games due to limited options, but Ben White may return after coming off the bench recently.

In the Champions League, Arsenal has earned seven points from nine without conceding, defeating Paris Saint-Germain and Shakhtar Donetsk at home after a goalless draw against Atalanta. Inter Milan also started their campaign strongly, securing a goalless draw at Manchester City and winning against Red Star Belgrade and Young Boys, remaining unbeaten and without conceding in Europe this season.
