Como coach and former Arsenal and Chelsea legend, Cesc Fabregas, believes that Inter Milan remain the team to beat in Serie A this season, but he expects Napoli to push them all the way. Speaking to SportMediaset, Fabregas highlighted Inter’s dominance under coach Simone Inzaghi, particularly praising the team’s organization and style of play.
According to Fabregas, while Juventus and AC Milan are strong contenders, it is Napoli, under Antonio Conte, who could prove to be Inter’s biggest challenge this season. Despite a rough start, Napoli has shown resilience, currently leading the table after seven games. Fabregas credits Conte’s winning mentality, pointing to his ability to secure titles in both Serie A and the Premier League.
“Inter are the strongest team in Italy,” Fabregas stated, emphasizing their consistent performance since last season. He also commended Inzaghi’s tactical setup, noting that the 3-5-2 formation, while appearing chaotic, is highly structured and effective.
