The Reds winger’s contract at Anfield runs until 2025, sparking considerable speculation about his future.
Many expect the 32-year-old to move to Saudi Arabia in 2025, particularly after Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad made a £150m offer in 2023. However, Al-Ittihad did not pursue him this summer, possibly aiming to sign him for free in 2025.
Liverpool has recently bolstered their right-wing options by signing Federico Chiesa from Juventus. Should Salah depart, Liverpool might look to replace him with Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane.
According to Todofichajes, Liverpool is interested in the 28-year-old German player, whose contract with Bayern Munich also expires in 2025. While Bayern plans to offer Sane a new deal this season, he reportedly has no interest in renewing it. Sane is keen on a return to the Premier League, having previously played 135 games for Manchester City, scoring 39 goals and providing 43 assists.
If Liverpool pursues Sane next summer, they will face competition from Saudi Arabian clubs, which may offer more lucrative contracts. Although Sane is believed to prefer staying in Europe for a few more years, the offers from Saudi clubs could be a significant factor in his decision.
