As reported by the Mirror via the Daily Express, Jamal Musiala has rejected Bayern Munich’s latest contract proposal. The 21-year-old German international has two years remaining on his current deal, which ends in the summer of 2026. Musiala is reportedly seeking a weekly salary of £300,000 to agree to new terms at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern values Musiala, who has scored 45 goals in 167 games for the club, at around £120m. However, if Musiala does not agree to a new contract, Bayern may face the dilemma of selling him next summer or risking him leaving for free in 2026.
