“Without Mount We Need Him”, Angry Chelsea Fans Tell Pochetino Not To loan two Super Talent To Strasbourg

Nizaar Kinsella’s post, published just now, supports Fabrizio Romano’s earlier report that Chelsea are on the verge of signing Deivid Washington on loan.

While Romano intimated that Washington would stay at Chelsea this season, Kinsella is certain he will join former and current teammate Angelo Gabriel in going on loan to Strasbourg.

The pair will play for Chelsea’s affiliate club for the season, and could yet be joined by a third from Stamford Bridge. Kinsella says that’s likely to be Lesley Ugochukwu, who also signed this summer.

The fact that Gabriel and Washington are the same age and have come through at Santos together should really help out their adaptation as they acclimatise to the European game and lifestyle for the first time. We assume that’s been part of the logic in buying them at the same time and loan them to the same place.

All three of these young Blues will go and try to help Patrick Vieira start the revolution in Alsace.
