Significant update on Erik ten Hag’s next Man United target. Against the backdrop of takeover uncertainty, Man United manager, Erik ten Hag, is doing some sterling work in the transfer market.
As each target is identified, so the club have got to work in bringing the player to Old Trafford and so far Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund have all been secured with the minimum of fuss.

Question marks still linger over Fred, Donny van de Beek and Scott McTominay, but all are thought to be up for sale.
Whether an acceptable offer for one or all three midfielders is received, they certainly need to be replaced, and Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat has been mentioned in reports.
Things appeared to have progressed dramatically as well, with writer Sacha Tavolieri tweeting that mediators were in England for negotiations with Manchester United.
Assuming that information is correct, it would imply that another player will arrive at Old Trafford before the start of the new season.
Furthermore, it demonstrates the club’s desire to back their manager, as well as the manager’s commitment to do whatever it takes to restore Man United’s success – even if that includes getting go of club stalwarts like David de Gea.
