Mo Salah has told Liverpool to sign this superstar for him unless his leaving the club

Mo Salah has urged Liverpool to take a look at starlet who’s caught Chelsea’s eye – journalist.

Mo Salah has reportedly urged Liverpool to look into a young Egyptian attacker who is said to have caught the attention of Chelsea.

According to 90min, the Blues are one of several Premier League clubs interested in Ibrahim Adel, who plays for Pyramids in his homeland and was recently named Player of the Tournament at the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations.

Graeme Bailey suggested on the Talking Transfers Podcast that the Reds’ number 11 has advised Anfield’s powerbrokers to keep an eye on his highly-rated compatriot.

“We’re told on this one that Chelsea’s interest is to send him to Strasbourg as well, Ibrahim Adel,” the journalist said. He’s a player we’ve discussed before. Liverpool was recommended by Mo Salah.

“He is, and has been for some time, one of the best young players in African football.” He plays for Pyramids in Egypt, and Mo Salah likes him enough to recommend him to Liverpool.”

Adel has spent his entire club career in Egypt, so his lack of European experience is unlikely to see him catapulted into Liverpool’s first team any time soon, even if he is signed.

However, Jurgen Klopp may consider him for squad rotation or a loan move to a competitive European league where the attacker would benefit from regular high-level game time.

The 22-year-old, who plays left flank for Pyramids (Transfermarkt), has 26 goals in 108 senior games, or slightly under one goal every four games, and can play everywhere throughout the forward line.

Salah, who has partnered with Adel at the senior international level for Egypt, will enjoy high regard following his pivotal performance in leading the Pharaohs to the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations championship game, which they lost to Morocco last Saturday.

Although it may be difficult to recall the youngster’s name, the Anfield hierarchy would be wise to heed the 31-year-old’s counsel if one of Liverpool’s best attackers has said that the player is someone to keep an eye on.
