Jurgen Klopp has made huge announcement over the future of his job at Liverpool

‘I don’t know yet’ – Jurgen Klopp admits Germany job ‘would be a great honour’ but stresses his ‘loyalty’ to Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp has admitted that managing Germany would be a “great honour,” but he insists that his “loyalty” to Liverpool means he is not interested in any other job right now.

Since taking over for Brendan Rodgers in October 2015, the German tactician has enjoyed enormous success at Anfield, restoring the club’s glory days by winning every major trophy possible.

The former Borussia Dortmund manager is under contract at Liverpool until the summer of 2026, so he is not currently available.

“The job of national coach is and would be a great honour – there’s no doubt about that,” Klopp said, according to the Liverpool Echo.

“The issue that is impeding the whole thing is my loyalty.” I can’t just leave Liverpool and declare that I’ll take over Germany for a few months. That does not work, and the request does not exist.

“If I’m supposed to do that at some point, I have to be available, which I’m not right now.”

“I have an obligation to the club.” In general, it’s an interesting job. But I’m not sure if I’ll do anything completely different after I leave Liverpool. “I’d like to keep all of my options open.”

Despite the fact that 47% of German supporters want the “Normal One” to take command of the Nationalmannschaft, Klopp’s representative stated last year that the 56-year-old aims to “fulfill” his contract with Liverpool.

The manager is currently not in any genuine danger of quitting, and we think he is fully dedicated to the team and to bringing home additional titles.

There are many reasons to be positive going into the new season, as seen by the club’s additions of Alexis MacAllister and Dominik Szoboszlai this summer.

The German’s retirement from Anfield will be a sad day, but we are excited for the upcoming three seasons under his direction.
