Chelsea Set to terminate 22 year old player contract and make him leave as a free agent this summer

Chelsea could be ready to terminate star’s contract and allow him free transfer exit. Chelsea could reportedly be ready to make the surprise move of terminating Callum Hudson-Odoi’s contract at the club.
The 22-year-old’s career has stalled in recent times, having struggled to make the step up into the Chelsea first-team on a regular basis, whilst also failing to take the chance to impress whilst on loan at Bayer Leverkusen last season.
It’s possible that Hudson-Odoi will soon be available on a free transfer because Chelsea may now be inclined to terminate his contract unless he agrees to take a large pay reduction, according to London World.
Even though Hudson-Odoi hasn’t quite shown that he is good enough for a premier team like Chelsea, this would undoubtedly be of interest to other Premier League clubs lower down.
West Ham will undoubtedly be keeping a careful eye on this scenario in the days and weeks to come, according to recent claims made by CaughtOffside journalist Ben Jacobs that they had inquired about Hudson-Odoi.
If the England international becomes a free agent, West Ham would be wise to take a chance on him and try to resurrect what had once appeared to be a very promising career.
