Tottenham about to announce world class manager as their new boss

Tottenham’s search for a new manager may soon be ended with the selection of the top candidate.

Although it had the potential to be the summer’s biggest story, it now seems as though Tottenham Hotspur will soon name their new manager.

Since Antonio Conte tossed his toys out the window and departed for Italy, the north Londoners have been in turmoil, and Fabio Paratici, the director of football, has been barred from any football-related operations due to financial violations at Juventus.

As the team’s temporary manager, Ryan Mason took over to keep things in order, although it was clear that he would never be given the permanent position.

Arne Slot was rumored to be the candidate to occupy the White Hart Lane hot seat, but the Dutchman instead signed a new contract with Eredivisie winners Feyenoord.

Daniel Levy, the chairman, deserves praise for waiting until the proper candidate emerged rather than giving in to pressure from supporters to let anyone through the door because he couldn’t afford to have a repeat of what happened with Nuno Espirito Santo.

The favoured candidate, according to Sky Sports, is Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou. However, nothing will be discussed or agreed until after Celtic have competed in this weekend’s Scottish Cup Final.

Postecoglou enters the game with the knowledge that he already owns the Scottish Premiership and the League Cup and is just 90 minutes away from a trifecta.

If he succeeds in doing so and successfully completes Scottish football, a new challenge may be exactly what he needs.
