Steven Gerrard has managed to get one of the biggest jobs in world football

43-year-old manager with 59% win percentage could join Leicester City.

Leicester City starts their new season in the Championship after a disappointing 2022–23 season by their standards.

Considering that the Premier League is renowned as being the hardest league in the world to leave, whomever is in charge at the start of the season must get the Foxes off to a strong start and push them to the top of the standings.

The majority of the campaign must be spent there, and in order to be among the division’s front-runners, they will require a manager with a strong work ethic, extensive experience at the highest level, and the ability to inspire respect.

According to The Sun, Steven Gerrard has emerged as a front-runner for the Leicester role despite the failure of his previous management endeavor.

According to Footy Stats, the former manager of Aston Villa and Rangers has a career victory rate of 59%, and Leicester evidently feels that this alone justifies giving Gerrard considerable consideration.

It’s uncertain at this point whether or not the Midlands-based team’s supporters will view that specific appointment favorably if it happens.

Being the local rivals of the Foxes and having not exactly made a splash at Aston Villa, it would be understandable if they weren’t that impressed.

On the other hand, Gerrard does have a point to make, and as a well-known figure who will immediately command the respect of the playing squad, it may be a move that succeeds.
