Sad Joao Felix news has been announced this afternoon

Pochettino, who was officially named Chelsea manager on Monday, has decided not to keep Felix beyond the end of his loan term with the Blues. After rebounding from a red card just 60 minutes into his debut, the Portuguese star showed glimpses of what he is capable of, but ultimately failed to convince the incoming management.
Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo confirmed the Portuguese attacker’s return to Spain after Marca broke the news. “The truth is that I can’t tell you the plan with Joao,” he remarked. It was announced yesterday that the new coach does not have him for Chelsea. We don’t have anything scheduled yet; Joao is now an Atletico Madrid player.”

The attacker scored four goals in 16 appearances for Chelsea, who finished with the lowest points total in Premier League history. Felix is unpopular with Diego Simeone, having started just seven league games for Atletico Madrid before joining Chelsea in January.
One of the reasons Pochettino may not want to bring Felix in on loan is that the Blues have already agreed to sign Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig. He appears to be the first player through the doors at Stamford Bridge this summer, ahead of what appears to be another hectic window.
