Leeds united have finally gotten a world class manager after relegation to the championship

Leeds United were relegated to the Championship on the final day of the Premier League season last month, and will now play in England’s second division in 2023-24.

After changing managers multiple times throughout the previous season, the Whites struggled to find consistency and were eventually relegated with only 31 points from 38 games.

Sam Allardyce was the most recent hire. Taking over from Javi Garcia in the Elland Road dugout, ‘Big Sam’ did everything he could to keep the Yorkshire club in the Premier League, but with time running out, there was nothing he could do.

However, ahead of the Whites’ effort to return to the Premier League immediately next season, according to recent reports, a major section of the Leeds squad is desperate for Allardyce to stay on, despite his status being under threat.

According to The Sun, the former England manager could stay in command despite the fact that the club’s probable new owners, the San Francisco 49ers, are considering pursuing former Rangers and Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard.
