Harry Kane finished the season with two more goals to help send Leeds United to the Championship, and after the game, the Tottenham Hotspur striker hinted that he would stay at the north Londoners.
Man United could be in for a massive disappointment if Harry Kane stays at Tottenham.
Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, is said to desire to bring Kane to Old Trafford, but he and United’s long-suffering fans may be in for even more heartbreak if the Spurs and England record scorer cannot be persuaded to leave.
“It is part and parcel of being a footballer [speculation about him leaving], especially when you are at the top of your game,” he told BT Sport.
“I’ve concentrated on this season and doing everything I can to help the team.” I’m simply looking forward to a great break and some England games.
“This season has been a letdown. We cannot allow this to triumph over that. There’s a lot to do.
“In some situations, we had to fight. A club of this stature should not finish eighth, and we need to take a vacation and think about how we can improve.”
"I'm just looking forward to a nice break and then a couple of games with England…"
