Graham Potter is being considered for an unexpected European position.
Graham Potter, a former manager of Chelsea and Brighton, is apparently being considered as a potential candidate to take over as Nice’s next manager in Ligue 1.
After a challenging tenure as Chelsea’s manager, the Englishman is currently unemployed, and it is unclear what level of management he will return to next.
Despite the fact that Potter led Brighton to greatness, it appears the transfer to Chelsea was too much for him.
Nevertheless, Nice would be a good choice, and it appears that they are considering him as one of several applicants for the position, as stated by Nice-Matin.
British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe owns the clothing brand Nice, therefore it stands to reason that he would want to appoint an English manager to oversee his enterprise.
Only time will tell if Potter is interested in taking on this challenge abroad or if his immediate goal is to establish himself once more in the Premier League.
